On-site Resident Manager
Eastmore Real Estate is looking for an organized and responsible individual to oversee two east side apartment buildings for us. Please find details on the position below.
On-site managers act as a liaison between our residents, prospective residents and office personnel. They are the eyes and ears of the building and play a crucial role in the success of Eastmore.
On-site manager duties include:
- Light building upkeep such as maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of all common areas. Therefore, a keen attention to detail and ability to mop, vacuum and dust is required.
- Mechanical aptitude is also a plus as our managers will be required to use a lawn mower and snow blower. Also, with training, our managers should be able to understand the general concept of our heating and electrical system in the event of an emergency.
- Our managers are also responsible for leasing efforts such as advertising on free apartment listing sites, responding to apartment inquiries and conducting personal showings. A qualified manager must have daily access to a computer, a personal email and posses the ability to post ads on-line.
Additionaly, a pro-active an organized individual is very important. In this industry our managers create their own schedule and oversee multiple aspects of a building simultaneously. Our managers must have the ability to create an organizational system for themselves while following Eastmore protocol.
A strong candidate would also have customer service experience. Our managers work with existing tenants and prospective tenants on a daily basis to either resolve their issue or direct them to the appropriate person who can assist them. The ability to adapt and resolve various concerns in a professional manner is a benefit.
This position requires 40-50hrs per month and night and weekend availability is required. Compensation is based on an hourly wage plus commission, bonuses and a partial phone and parking reimbursement all in the form of a rent credit.
